Common faults of rear axle of small four-wheel tractor

1. Rear axle leakage

(1) If oil leakage occurs at the joint surface of the axle shaft and the gearbox body, it is mainly due to damage of the paper pad, deformation of the joint piece, or loosening of the bolt.

(2) If the outer end of the axle tube leaks oil, one possible reason is that the skeleton oil is reversed. Another possible reason is that the oil seal ages and cracks, and the annular spring is too loose, broken or falling off.

2, rear axle overheated

(1) If the rear axle is overheated just after adjustment, the bearing clearance or gear engagement gap is generally too small.

(2) If the rear axle is overheated at the mounted bearing, it is generally caused by damage to the bearing, bearing frame, or excessive bearing clearance.

(3) The lack of lubricant in the gearbox or the poor quality of the oil can also cause the rear axle to heat up.

3, rear axle abnormal sound

(1) The tightening bolts of the differential cover and the driven gear are loosened, or the locking pieces are not locked, so that the nuts are loosened and the normal meshing of the gears is destroyed.

(2) The driven gear is usually connected through a number of T-bolts and several anti-return bolts to the differential case and differential cover. The side of the driven gear with the boss should be the joint surface. Use the side without the boss as the joint surface. After using for a period of time, the nut will loosen and make the differential gear appear axial turbulence.

(3) Axle gear and differential gear surface are worn and the meshing clearance is too large.

(4) Bearing wear, bearing clearance is too large, so that the normal meshing of the gear is destroyed.

(5) The flange at the differential cover mounting bearing is broken.

(6) The lack of lubricant in the case or the quality of the oil does not meet the requirements, resulting in poor lubrication.
